The feeling of urgency was clear and annoying. We was never made aware the kitchen was closing nor did they check to see if we would like desert before planting our check next to my seat which they came to check if i paid periodically through the movie. They have pillows yet never offer, i ordered a few things and the most simple thing "loaded Tater tots" never came i ask whats going on the waitress said oh hes getting to it, me and my wife finished eating and then the taters came.

First off the service is horrible as a premium seater they don't bring your free popcorn. Although the place is very nice and very comfortable it lacks on alot. I would love to give this place 5 stars but unfortunately i can't. I have reached out to the Twitter account with a private message. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Google doesn't provide a way for me to send you my contact info privately. Very disappointed and will most likely not go back, will also inform anyone I know about the bad service to hopefully spare them the disappointment and help them save their money. The food, another $61, again not worth it.Next time we will go down the road to the 24 screen chain theater and use the concession stand where i will get my own food almost immediately and will have many more options. Very happy we had gift cards to cover the entry but sad a relative spent their money knowing the kind of service we got. Overall, 4 tickets at a total of $100 was extremely steep for this type of service. Took two bites and the rest of the giant dessert went to waste because it was not good. We took him up on the offer but wished we hadn't. The waiter did apologize, put blame on the fact that the kitchen got slammed and also said that is no excuse and apologized and offered a free dessert. Perhaps the horrible service played a factor in that but I honestly couldn't tell you. I wonder if we would have gotten that 4th item if they would have prepared our order in a timely manner, but i guess we will never know.Įven though we only arrived 15 mins before the showtime and were the first to order, food arrived about 4:30 The food was just ok, not nearly as good as it had been in the past. I had to go out and ask some random person behind the bar, they check the kitchen and say the one item was just finishing up (we had 3 items total). Patrons next to us (who ordered after us) got their food and still nothing for us for at least another 20 mins.

Waiter came out after movie started to apologize because the kitchen just told him they just ran out of one of the items we ordered. We get our drinks and popcorn (one drink was wrong which was quickly fixed) and time goes on and on with no food in sight. Placed the order then had to ask and go grab pillows and blankets myself. Finally showed up and we were first to order in the theater. Previews started at 3:30 and i had to press both sets of call buttons and go out to find out when we would get a server. We were the first ones in the theaters (group of 4) 15 minutes before showtime. until today late afternoon / early evening (3:30pm showtime).

The only other Illinois location for the company, the IPIC Bolingbrook, also closed recently. IPIC Theatres continues to operate theaters in eight states around the country. Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the AMC South Barrington 24 in South Barrington, the Classic Cinemas Cinema 12 in Carpentersville, and the Catlow Theatre in Barrington. The last time we received any showtimes updates for the theater was November 19, 2020.
